Finn Gunnar Nielsen is Chief Researcher, field development technology, Professor in marine technology, Norwegian university of science and technology (NTNU).
Dr. ing. marine hydrodynamics, NTNU 1980. Has mainly worked within R&D mostly within Norsk Hydro, now StatoilHydro. Has been involved in several major offshore oil and gas projects. Headed the R&D activity resulting the floating offshore wind turbine, Hywind. Teaching "marine operations" at NTNU. |
